By mid-2024, Vodafone plans to further expand the 5G network and implement two construction projects in the existing mobile network to close coverage gaps and enhance broadband capacities and speeds. Vodafone’s Mobile Stations Support Advanced Mobile Location
All Vodafone mobile base stations in the district support the Advanced Mobile Location (AML) emergency technology as well as the new Cell Broadcast disaster warning system. AML automatically transmits the caller’s location to the emergency control center when dialing “112,” enabling responders to quickly locate the scene of the incident. Through the Cell Broadcast technology, nearby individuals are alerted via their smartphones about dangers such as major fires, gas explosions, floods, and other disasters.
