1NCE launches the world’s largest NB-IoT mobile network. Now the company is expanding to offer its own solution in the United States, the Slovak Republic, Finland, Croatia, Taiwan, Denmark, Belgium, Norway and Sweden.
IoT mobile network: Golbale flat rate available
IoT mobile network coverage is available at a fixed price and is available in almost all economies. Total coverage increases to a total of 140 countries as a result of the expansion. 1NCE is the only IoT connectivity and software provider that also offers a global flat rate. The company has expanded its 2G, 3G and 4G coverage with the expansion. 1NCE supports all radio standards (2G, 3G, 4G/LTE-M and NB-IoT). These now cover 20 new global destinations.
1NCE offers NB-IoT (Narrowband-IoT) coverage in Austria, China, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Puerto Rico, the Slovak Republic, Spain, Taiwan, the United States, the U.S. Virgin Islands and the United Kingdom.
Algeria, Bahrain, Benin, Tajikistan, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Gabon, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mozambique, New Caledonia, Andorra, Suriname, Togo and Uruguay are among the new regions with 2G, 3G and 4G.
“The demand for cross-border availability of low-power networks is increasing as more enterprises, as well as cities, realize that smart, IoT-driven solutions can have a big impact on their businesses,” said Ivo Rook, COO at 1NCE.
Global IoT mobile network coverage is critical for multinational IoT deployments, the COO added. 1NCE’s focus, therefore, is on expanding NB-IoT NB-IoT, a licensed low power wide area (LPWA) technology, and LTE-M for customers, he said. This is intended to simplify access to IoT for the Köllner company’s customers without having to rely on multiple providers.
Future-proof IoT mobile network
With the expansion, 1NCE will become more lucrative for global deployment. For example, 1NCE’s IoT mobile network is doubled in size. The IoT connection is future-proof as the software services extend beyond the lifetime of the devices. As early as 2027, 1NCE has been pursuing the goal of improving the IoT industry with a global service and flat rate for IoT sensors. Most projects in the IoT sector require a global implementation. However, this is offered by only a few IoT mobile operators.
NB-IoT is a narrowband wireless technology. It is increasingly used by IoT sensors in remote locations. Here, there are usually only a few connection options and no external power source available. NB-IoT is suitable for battery-powered devices due to its energy efficiency and excellent signal range. These can be used in areas such as smart metering, smart farming, asset tracking and other use cases.
IoT mobile network at a fixed price
The cost of 1NCE’s NB-IoT mobile network is very low, making it a good investment for global companies. For as little as 10 euros for 10 years, IoT sensors can be used. The company’s flat rate offers 500 MB of data and 250 SMS, for just one euro per year per device. This makes IoT applications affordable and scalable. 1NCE’s multimode SIM card also enables a smooth transition between different communication standards without incurring roaming or setup costs.
Up to 100 free SIM cards, each with a 12-month term, can be ordered per customer in the AWS Marketplace to try them out. In the process, all SIM cards are pre-activated within a few business days so that they are delivered “hot-out-of-the-box”.
