Symeo GmbH to Showcase Radar Sensors for Bulk Material Logistics

0

Symeo GmbH, a manufacturer of industrial radar sensors, will be showcasing their products and solutions at the 28th Bulk Material Handling Conference in Garching near Munich on September 18th and 19th, 2024. Their radar sensors have proven to be highly reliable in various applications within bulk material logistics. One key advantage is their resistance to dust and weather conditions, making them superior to optical sensors.

Advantages and Applications of Radar in Logistics and Material Handling

Daniel Evers, Head of Product at Symeo GmbH, will be giving a presentation titled “Maintaining Clarity with Radar Sensor Technology: Features, Applications, and Advancements in Logistics and Material Handling” on September 19, 2024 at 9:30 am. During his talk, he will discuss the benefits of radar sensor technology in bulk material logistics and demonstrate how this technology can be used to enhance logistics and material handling processes.

Symeo presents the Collision Control Center for crane safety

The Collision Control Center (CCC) presented by Symeo at the accompanying exhibition is a modular assistance and management software designed specifically for collision avoidance of cranes and objects. With its precise monitoring and control capabilities, the CCC contributes to the prevention of accidents and damages.

Symeo introduces innovative Sensors with LPR-Technology for precise distance measurement

Symeo introduces three sensor systems with its patented LPR technology, offering precise real-time distance measurement capabilities. The LPR-1DHP-291 can measure distances of up to 50 meters with a single sensor, up to 300 meters with two sensors, and up to 500 meters with multiple sensors. The compact LPR-1DHP-350, measuring only 90 x 90 x 35 mm, serves as a replacement for ultrasonic and laser sensors. Additionally, the LPR-1D24 is designed for applications such as collision avoidance and reliable position determination in seaports and bulk material storage facilities, capable of measuring distances of up to 1,000 meters.

Overall, Symeo’s products and solutions offer numerous advantages for bulk material logistics. The radar sensors from Symeo outperform optical sensors due to their resistance to dust and weather conditions. The innovative assistance and management software, along with the patented LPR technology, enable precise monitoring and control of cranes and objects, contributing to accident and damage prevention. With these innovative solutions, Symeo plays a crucial role in optimizing logistics and material handling processes in the bulk material industry.
