The Stäubli TX2-160L, a six-axis robot with a long reach, was chosen for the robotic cell. Its additional linear axis allows it to weld in two separate cells, resulting in a unique layout that provides high flexibility and short lead times. The programming of the robot and turntables is straightforward and can be done directly on the workpiece, enabling quick adaptation to different tasks.
