Concept Reply and MULTIVAC have joined forces to develop Smart Services for the automated monitoring of machines. This collaboration is part of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, an initiative that brings together industry-specific companies to establish common standards for the Industrial Internet of Things. By leveraging their expertise in IoT projects, Concept Reply is supporting the alliance in setting standards for Industrial IoT. The goal is to improve transparency, efficiency, and productivity of machines through digital management both on-site and remotely.

Concept Reply collaborates with MULTIVAC to develop Smart Services for the automated monitoring of machines. This project is part of the Open Industry 4.0 Alliance, which aims to establish common standards for the Industrial Internet of Things. Through their expertise in IoT projects, Concept Reply supports the alliance in setting standards for Industrial IoT. Together with MULTIVAC, they are working on the “Smart Services” project, which aims to digitally manage machines both on-site and remotely. This enhances process transparency and improves the efficiency and productivity of the facilities.
The Cloud-IoT platform developed for MULTIVAC serves as a centralized monitoring and management instance, processing data and providing users with customizable dashboards as smart services. By utilizing a Microfrontend architecture on Azure Cloud and modern web technologies, it enables the future implementation of AI-based assistants, fostering new business models and facilitating a sustainable, resource-efficient smart factory.
The combination of cloud and edge computing reduces latency from data acquisition through sensors to actuator control, enabling real-time data processing, protection against cyber attacks, and direct machine-to-machine communication.
More projects are already being planned with MULTIVAC to further expand industry standards through intelligent digitization of production and actively shape the future of Industry 4.0.
The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance is dedicated to developing cross-vendor Industry 4.0 solutions and services for automated production facilities and warehouses. By utilizing open technical ecosystems, the Alliance enables the seamless integration of machines and applications from different providers, allowing for secure data transportation along the entire value chain.
