The MES provider Industrie Informatik announced a new online platform, the “Solution Store”, as part of its Innovation Days at the end of June 2022. In the future, users will be able to purchase digital manufacturing modules as downloads. The highlight of the matter: the so-called solutions have been extensively tested, are ready for immediate use and, despite extensive customization options, find a way into the standard release cycle of Industrie Informatik’s manufacturing software.
Solution Store as a highlight at the Industrie Informatik Innovation Days
At the end of June 2022, nearly 200 participants gathered for the Industrie Informatik Innovation Days at the Jochen Schweizer Arena in Taufkirchen/Munich. On the one hand, the guests were informed by an extensive lecture program about technical and organizational innovations around the services of the MES provider. On the other hand, they were provided with information about the future of digital manufacturing.
New online platform provides with building blocks
The announcement of the Industrie Informatik Solution Store was a highlight. This online platform provides customers with best-practice solutions, building blocks as well as templates, among other things, in a central location.
Bernd Steinbrenner, CCO Industrie Informatik, says: “The goal is to ensure quick and sustainable success for our customers and interested parties, because individualization according to standards is essential if you also want to follow the path to the Smart Factory in a cost-efficient and timely manner.”
The standard components are ready for immediate use and have been extensively tested. If required, they can be customized quickly and easily thanks to innovative basic technologies (low code, no code). In the future, it should also be possible for users to offer self-designed “solutions” in the store and in this way further strengthen the community idea.
