The Catan C1 EN is a compact controller with a width of only six TE. It stands out for its flexible mix of 14 individually configurable inputs and outputs, which leads to further space and cost savings. The eight universal inputs are suitable for temperature sensors, 0…10V interfaces, or as counters, among other applications. The two universal and four digital channels can be set as either inputs or outputs.

Cantan C1 EN: A Compact Controller with Versatile Interfaces

The Cantan C1 EN is a compact controller equipped with a Managed-Ethernet-Switch and various interfaces, including three Ethernet, two RS485, and two USB-C ports. These interfaces allow for the connection of a Control Panel and USB peripherals. Additionally, as the first Niagara controller, it also features a KNX-TP interface. The plug-in Control Panel supports local configuration, operation, and maintenance, while two SPE interfaces provide compatibility with different Catan expansion modules.

The Catan C1 EN from Phoenix Contact offers a powerful programming environment and visualization tool with Emalytics and the Niagara Framework. This tool is also used by the established ILC 2050 BI.
