ICO Innovative Computer GmbH has introduced the new PicoSYS 3240 and 3240a embedded systems with the Intel® Celeron® J6412 processor. With their combination of durable hardware, high interface density and unbeatable price, these embedded box PCs set new standards in the industry.
Small but powerful: PicoSYS 3240 and 3240a embedded PCs with 4 threads and 2.60 GHz burst frequency
The PicoSYS 3240 and 3240a embedded PCs both use the latest Intel® Celeron® J6412 processor with a clock frequency of 2.00GHz. With 4 cores and 4 threads as well as a burst frequency of 2.60GHz at only 10W power dissipation, this processor is extremely energy-efficient. The Embedded Box PCs have 8GB RAM, which can be expanded up to 32GB on request. In addition, 128GB solid-state drives are included in both Embedded PCs. There are M.2, Mini PCIe, SIM slot and two Gigabit LAN ports. Optionally, WLAN can be added to both Embedded PCs. For graphic output, there are VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort connections.
The embedded PCs PicoSYS 3240 and PicoSYS 3240a differ mainly in the number and type of serial interfaces. The PicoSYS 3240 has six interfaces, four of which can be used as RS485, while the PicoSYS 3240a has eight, six of which can be used as RS485. In addition, the PicoSYS 3240a offers the option of exchanging two RS232 ports for two CAN bus ports. Both models can optionally be operated with Windows 10 or Ubuntu and are suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
